Broadway Revue
Masquers Theater in conjunction with Vanellis by the Lake will present a dinner theater featuring “Forbidden Broadway“ at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5, 6, and 7 and at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 8. The show is a cabaret revue sharply spoofing show tunes, characters and plots of contemporary and current Broadway musicals. Fastpitch fundraiser
The 14U Ranger fastpitch team is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5. at the Forest Lake VFW, 556 SW 12th St. Funds will assist the team with a trip to the national fastpitch tournament held out of state. Contact Michelle Johnson at 651-216-4660 with any questions.
Father-daughter dance
The 12th annual father-daughter ball at Faith Lutheran Church will be held at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7. DJ Dean Carlson of Night Magic will again play dance music. Tickets are available at Faith Lutheran or by calling 651-464-3323. Tickets are $12 and $8 for ages seven and under.
Youth leadership speaker
Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Dr., will host Tiger McLuen from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 11. Forest Lake Children’s Performing Arts presents Peter Pan Jr. at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 14 and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 15. All performances will be held at the Forest Lake High School Auditorium, 6101 Scandia Trail N. Admission is free, but reservations are recommended and can be made at www.forestlakecpa.org.
Valentine child care
Forest Hills Church will offer free child care from 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 in an effort to allow parents to enjoy a kid-free date night. Call 651-464-5249 to register.
Ladies night out
Styl’n By The Lake salon, 168 South Lake St., will host a ladies night out from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 19. The event will feature a gift basket giveaway as well as promotional prices on some products and services. A portion of the profits from the evening will benefit Community Helping Hands.
Hoops fundraiser
Forest Lake high school boys and girls booster clubs will host a fundraiser beginning at 5 p.m. Feb. 21. Kid and team games will be featured from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and The Hooligans will provide live music from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Pizza will be served. Tickets for the event are $10.
Percussion festival
The Forest Lake Drumline is hosting its annual “Drumline Percussion Festival” from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 28. in the Forest Lake High School gym. Indoor drumline combines music and theater in competition.
