Washington County Attorney Pete Orput and Sixth Congressional District Congressman Tom Emmer were among the guest speakers thanking veterans at Forest Lake’s Vietnam Veterans Day event March 29 at the American Legion.
Several veterans listen to the the speakers as a banner offers Vietnam veterans the welcome home some of them never received when their tours ended.
Emmer thanks veterans during a short speech and talks about pro-veteran efforts he’s pushing in Washington.
