Billy Taylor Morehead, died on Easter Sunday, surrounded by his devoted family; “Billy T” joined his mother, father, brother, and sister in the loving hands of God.
Billy T’s career spanned many years in Correctional Education finishing as Director of Education at Stillwater State Prison. Billy T was an avid sports lover throughout his life, both as a participant and spectator. He especially loved watching his grandson Trey play football, basketball and baseball.
He will be deeply missed by his love wife, Cathy; his daughter, Wendy O’Day (Joe) Krnavek; grandson, Trey O’day and his father, Tom O’day; Joe’s daughter, Hana Krnavkova; brothers-in-law, Peter (Nood) Lawler, Bill (Marcia) Lawler. With great admiration and love, he says goodbye to his brother, Bob (Karen); sister-in-law, Colleene (Andris) Kauls; along with many nieces, nephews, and lifetime friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 4-8 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred.
