WYOMING
Secret agent day
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come to the Wyoming Library at 12:30 p.m. July 18 for a special secret agent training day. Complete all the challenges and receive a special prize. No registration required.
Game on
Play Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Wii Play and more from 1 to 2:30 p.m. July 21 and Aug. 4 at the Wyoming Library.
Happiness for old folks
This free session will be held at 7 p.m. July 22 at the Wyoming Library. The program will be presented by Mary Jo Meadow, Ph.D. Professor Emerita of Psychology from Minnesota State University-Mankato and the author of 7 published books. Registration is required. Call 651-462-9001 or stop by the library to register.
HUGO
Farm fun days
A fun family day on the farm will be held form 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. July 26 at the Miron Century Family Farm, 15250 Homestead Ave. N. A free lunch is provided, while supplies last. Free will
donations are being accepted to support scholarships for agriculture students. There will be farm tours, milking demonstrations, hay rides, and entertainment.
EAST BETHEL
Senior dance
The East Bethel seniors will host a dance from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 7 at the community center one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221 Ave. Cost is $6 and includes lunch. The featured performer is Tony Jambor.
Pancake breakfast
The East Bethel seniors will host a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. August 9 at the community center one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221 Ave. The event will feature pancakes, french toast, sausage, juice, coffee, and choice of egg. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids 10 and under.
WYOMING
5k Run/Walk
Stomp Out Suicide will host a 5k family run/walk August 22 at Goodview Park. The event will feature live music, face painting, a resource fair, silent auction, raffle prizes, bounce houses, clowns, and food stands. More information available art facebook.com/stompoutsuicide.
LINWOOD
Defensive driving
A 55 alive 8-hour refresher defensive driving class will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. September 19 at the Linwood Senior Center. Cost is $15. Register at 651-462-5565
