WYOMING
Advice for your device
This one time session from 7 to 8 p.m. July 30 at the Wyoming Library will show users how to download library eBooks and eAudiobooks on a smartphone, tablet, or eReader. Registration is required in person or by calling 651-462-9001. Please bring your device to the session.
Learn about sheep
A local farmer will be bringing a baby lamb to the library at 11 a.m. Aug. 1. Learn about farm animals and how the wool from the lamb is used to make clothes.
CENTER CITY
Hazelfest
The 3rd Annual Music and Recovery Community Festival presented by Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and sponsored by 89.3 The Current will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Hazelden Campus in Center City, MN. Featured acts include Caroline Smith, Astronautalis, Haley Bonnar, Davina and the Vagabonds, GB Leighton, and DJ LAST WORD. The special guest speaker will be actress and recovering addict Mackenzie Phillips. There will also be a family fun zone featuring appearances by characters from the PBS show Super Why. Tickets are $15 in advance and $25 at the door and can be purchased at https://goo.gl/Z2jlsZ.

Jewelry and bedding sale
Fairview Lakes Auxiliary is sponsoring a fundraising sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 6. Products include high quality sheets and bedding and unique jewelry. Proceeds of the sales will be used to benefit patients and families at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, Wyoming.

Dog and cat nutrition
Come join your dogs and cats ancestors for a seminar on dog and cat nutrition from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wildlife Science Center, 5643 W. Broadway Ave. Cost is $15 per person.

Senior dance
The East Bethel seniors will host a dance from 1 to 4 p.m. August 7 at the community center one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221 Ave. Cost is $6 and includes lunch. The featured performer is Tony Jambor.

Pancake breakfast
The East Bethel seniors will host a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. August 9 at the community center one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221 Ave. The event will feature pancakes, french toast, sausage, juice, coffee, and choice of egg. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids 10 and under.

5k Run/Walk
Stomp Out Suicide will host a 5k family run/walk August 22 at Goodview Park. The event will feature live music, face painting, a resource fair, silent auction, raffle prizes, bounce houses, clowns, and food stands. More information available art facebook.com/stompoutsuicide.
LINWOOD
Defensive driving
A 55 alive 8-hour refresher defensive driving class will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. September 19 at the Linwood Senior Center. Cost is $15. Register at 651-462-5565
