Chuck & Don’s to highlight positive impact of rescue pets; Pet food and supplies retailer launches social media campaign to share pet adoption stories

Chuck & Don’s will launch a social media campaign during the month of October to highlight the impact of rescue pets on the people who rescue them.

Starting Oct. 1 and in honor of National Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, pet parents can submit a photo or video explaining how their rescued pet has changed their lives for the better on social media using the hashtag #RescuedByPets. But the term “pets” includes more than dogs – cats and other small animals are also welcome in submissions.

At the end of the month, Chuck & Don’s will choose one submission to receive a $250 gift card to any of its 24 Twin Cities locations, including the Forest Lake store at 1960 W. Broadway Ave. The rescue organization from which the pet was adopted will also receive a $250 gift card.
