EAST BETHEL
Pancake breakfast
The East Bethel seniors will host a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 10 at the community center one mile east of Hwy. 65 on 221 Ave. The event will feature pancakes, french toast, sausage, juice, coffee, and choice of egg. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids 10 and under.
COLUMBUS
Comedy show
Running Aces will present a comedy show at 6 and 9 p.m. Dec. 31 featuring Nick at Nite’s funniest mom in America Darlene Westgor, Twin Cities funniest person semi-finalist Mark Nussbaum, and veteran comedian David Goldman. WYOMING
Advice for your device
The Wyoming library will host a one time sessions to learn how to download library eBooks and eAudiobooks on your smartphone, tablet, or eReader from 7 to 8 p.m. Jan. 7. Registration is required in person or by calling 651-462-9001. Please bring your device to the session.
LINWOOD
4-H Dance
St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church 4-H, 171 Elm St., will host a dance party from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 8 for all ages to raise money to make improvements to Anoka County 4-H Camp Salie, located in Linwood Township. Cost is $5 per person. Pay at the door with cash or check. All proceeds are being donated to the cause. Food sales (hot dogs and root beer floats) will be offered for an additional cost.
