Janet Rounsville, a Forest Lake nursing instructor from the School of Nursing at Globe University and Minnesota School of Business, has been selected from among a list of three dozen applicants to take part in Sylvia’s Children’s upcoming “Create a Miracle” Mission Medical Trip, scheduled to take place in March 2016.

Rounsville was hand-selected by Minnesota native Sylvia Allen, founder of non-profit Sylvia’s Children, after witnessing her passion for helping those in need and her interest in traveling to Uganda, the landlocked East African country in which Sylvia’s Children does all of its work. Over the next two months, Rounsville will seek to fundraise $5,000 through the global crowdfunding platform, GoGetFunding, which will support her in her endeavor to help make a difference by enabling her to travel to the village and work in its new state-of-the-art 6,000-square-foot medical clinic.
