Thrifty White Pharmacy recently announced plans for a grand opening of its new store located at 1420 Lake Street South in Forest Lake. This is near the new Forest Lake City Center. The store will open at its new location at 9 a.m. March 14, and the Chamber of Commerce will assist in a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon.
Although the current location has served the company well for many years, the new pharmacy will have many new features including a drive through pharmacy lane, expanded additional parking right at the door, a new “Healthy Outcomes” format with multiple checkout lanes for faster service plus three consulting rooms for professional pharmacy services. The private consulting rooms will be available for immunizations, biometric screenings, comprehensive medication reviews, and medication consulting. Thrifty White is a national leader in Medication Synchronization, which allows customers to have all of their maintenance prescriptions filled and ready on one day each month. This leads to better medication adherence.
All prescription records will be available at the new store on Monday morning. Current phone numbers (651-464-5518) will roll over to the new location. Pharmacy hours will remain the same: M-F 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
