ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
The Forest Lake Area School Board will receive sealed bids on a General Contract, including mechanical and electrical work, for remodeling a portion of the Forest Lake High School for an on-site clinic.
Bids shall be on a stipulated sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted.
Project is to be Substantially Complete on October 24, 2016. Further completion details are included in the project documents.
The Owner will receive bids until 2:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and marked Bid for On-Site Clinic, with the name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of the opening. Bids shall be delivered to: Larry Martini, Director of Business Services, Forest Lake Area Schools District Office, 6100 North 210th Street, Forest Lake, MN 55025.
Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after specified closing time. Interested parties are invited to attend.

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at ARC in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Paper copies can be obtained by sending a check of $100 for each set of documents payable to Forest Lake Area School District ISD 831 and a separate check in the sum of $25 for postage and handling payable to ARC. A CD consisting of PDFs of the bidding documents can be obtained by sending a check of $30 payable to ARC.

Bidders upon returning the paper documents in good condition within 10 days following the public opening of the bids, shall be returned the deposit in full. Postage and handling is non-refundable.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Tour of the area of construction will occur as a part of the pre-bid conference.
