Ronald A. Renard, age 52, died unexpectedly on July 26, 2016.
Ron was a lifelong resident of the Forest Lake area; he was born in Chisago City, MN on August 29, 1963; he was a star hockey and golf player in high school.
He was a cement contractor, lifelong men’s league golfer, father, son, brother, and friend.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
Ron will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his four children, Cole (Ana) and Evan, Raymond and Rosalie; mother, Dianne; siblings, Randy (Wendy), Renee (Marc) Nelson; nieces and nephews, Macy and Madison Nelson, Raelene, Ryan, Brandon and Matt Renard.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Rick and father, Jacque.
The family will Greet Friends from 4- 7 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016 with a Memorial Service beginning at 7 p.m., at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
