Request for Proposals Lease of Forestland Nurseries Site
Proposals will be received by the City of Forest Lake, Minnesota, in the City Hall at 220 Lake Street North, until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 for the lease of city property described as:

Legal Description: Part of the S 1/2 S 1/4 lying S of the N 660 ft. lying W of the E 300 ft. and lying ELY of ELY R/W LN HWY 61, subject to covenants and easements, Section 20, Township 032, Range 021, consisting of 15.436 acres.
The property lies within the Airport Safety Zone, as currently established, and is subject to all related rules and regulations of the state and federal government.
The term of the lease shall be for a period of five years, to commence on the 1st day of November, 2014 and terminate on the 31st day of October, 2019.
Leased premises have previously been used for the growing and sale of nursery stock and the storage and sale of landscaping materials and any other lawful business related to the nursery and landscaping enterprise. Any alternative uses will be subject to approval of the City and will be negotiated in the lease agreement.
Lease payments shall be paid in advance on at least a monthly basis. Tenant will provide insurance coverage according to City standards.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the lease agreement in the best interests of the City.
