Original artwork by a local artist will be the focus of a community-wide Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community sponsored arts event to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. April 23 at the Praise Pentecostal Church, 5521 E. Viking Blvd., Wyoming.
“Imagine” is the theme of the art show featuring paintings, digital artwork and photographs by artist Eric Peterson.
Peterson says that the creative expression evident in his paintings and photography comes from “a diverse history of life experiences” ranging from his involvement in sales and the culinary profession to his experience with military intelligence in the U.S. Army during the first Gulf War. Peterson will be present during the show to answer questions and talk with guests about the diversity of his artwork.
As a compliment to the art on display, local singer/songwriter Andrew Spreck, accompanied by percussionist Bob Colbert, will perform selected songs from his repertoire. Spreck draws from over 24 years of live performance experience as electric lead guitar and lead vocalist in classic rock and blues bands.
