Ruby Jean Atkinson, of Hugo, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2016, with family by her side.Preceded in death by parents, Olga and Ingvold Olson; siblings, Janice Storzuk, Joan Hill, Raymond Olson, Eileen Sorenson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dean A. Atkinson; children, Debbie (Randy) Wirtz, Darlene (Tony) Weiss, Mike Atkinson; grandchildren, Shannon Spychalla, Shane Wirtz, Brittany Viskoe, Chet Atkinson, Mitch Weiss; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Duane Olson, Stanley Olson, Marianne Kristofferson, Carolann Broten; and dear friends.
Funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2016 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
