Eva M. LaMotte (Lunzer) was born to Martin and Frances Lunzer May 20, 1928 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 7, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, Gerald; sisters, Lorraine and Betty and a baby grandson.
Eva is survived by her children, Jean (Jim) Thurnbeck, Mary (Bob) Carter, Richard (Vicki) LaMotte, Ann Duren (Paul Florek), Fran (Julie) LaMotte; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo Lunzer and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Eva led a full life as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a very talented and creative seamstress, loved quilting, gardening, fishing and traveling. She always enjoyed meeting new people in her travels and working with her husband, Bob at LaMotte Auto in Forest Lake. She had a great love of life, a quick smile and contagious laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday and 9-10 a.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
