Forest Lake Area Schools Early Intervention Team invites all families within the school district to attend a series of free workshops designed to give parents and other caregivers information and resources to support children’s development of social emotional skills.
The workshops will provide practical tools and techniques that help adults achieve respectful, healthy relationships with their children and help them prepare their kids for the real world.
One session, focusing on handling misbehavior, will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 25. The other session, focusing on teaching kids to listen, will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. May 23.
Participants can attend one or both sessions. Pre-registration is required and a limited number of free childcare slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, call Karyna Chrislock at 651-982-8373 or email her at kchrislock@flaschools.org.
