Students at Wyoming Elementary’s School Age Care and Sonic programs participated in STEAM-themed clubs this winter. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math and the students were able to choose from four clubs: Balls and Tracks Building, Stop Motion Movie Making, Building Challenges, and Math-Centered Art Activities. Following their work, the students hosted a Sweet STEAM Showcase before school, where parents, staff, teachers and board members toured exhibits of STEAM-themed projects.
All event attendees were warmly greeted with a cup of coffee, cookie and a tour where the students led the demonstrations and showed off their creations.
